Who qualifies?

Prospective owners should:

  • have combined incomes not exceeding 80% of the median income in Jackson County.
  • posses a good credit history (score of 640 and up) and a stable income sufficient to the meet the monthly loan payments plus property taxes and insurance.
  • commit to meeting program requirements such as sweat equity, explained below

Income Requirements for 2009

Your annual gross household income must be within this range by household size:

  • One person can earn up to $30,800
  • Two people can earn up to $35,200
  • Three people can earn up to $39,600
  • Four people can earn up to $44,100
  • Five people can earn up to $51,480
  • Six people can earn up to $59,060
